Natural Cotswold stone building materials quarried in Wiltshire
Are you looking for high quality Cotswold stone tiling?
At Goldhill Quarry, we extract high quality Jurassic forest marble limestone to create a range of beautiful and attractive products. Stone from Goldhill Quarry is used to make:
- Cotswold stone roofing tiles
- Drystone walling stone
- Rockery stone
- Natural stone paving
- Stone tiles and slates
- Some architectural masonry
Our natural stone tiles can be seen on Churches throughout the region, as well as many English Heritage and National Trust projects and properties. We have also supplied to a number of historic buildings in Oxfordshire and several Oxford Colleges.
How we quarry your stone
We extract the stone using as many of the time honoured traditional methods as possible. Whilst trying to maintain the old techniques, we do use a few simple modern tools to speed up the process which helps keep production cost down. Due to the quality of our stone, and our extraction methods, we can produce larger tiles both in length and width than any of our competitors.
